For the time being, we will be using a Centric 300zx brake master, part number 46010-30P22 for a master cylinder bore of 17/16th. However due to the ever elusive third brake fitting, we opt for a banjo bolt solution instead.
By using a m10 banjo bolt fitting, we install another Russell 65702 – banjo straight to 10mm female -3 and another Aeroquip FCM2945 – -3 male to 10mm x 1.0 inverted flare to go to the passenger side front brake.
damn, very nice set up. i’m about to put same rims on my 13 but 4 lug, and was just curious what coils you have, and if you had to raise the car for the wheels to fit. thanks
I am running Megan Track Coilovers and no, no need to raise the car to clear. You will need the driver side harness lifted, but I’m sure you knew that. Thanks for chiming in!
hey guys,
could i instead of using a X caliper, use a IX caliper but with a X rotor?
if so where can i buy the bracket from!
please contact ASAP on benji_mitchell@live.com
cheerz
BENJI
Hey Benji, you may or may not be able to run the IX calipers on a X rotor, but I was unable to on my Cryo Centric rotors, as they were oversized compared to the IX units. The skullworks bracket is steadily available, you can check places like Z1 motorsports, Enjuku or of course Pro Street Online.
Thanks. take care and good luck on your project.
Hi John. Where did you get the Skullworks caliper adapters from? I’ve been searching the net but can’t find them. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers from Down Under! – Josh
Whats up bro, as I stated to Benji, try Z1, Enjuku or Pro Street.
Good luck!
I checked those websites, and i couldn’t find the brackets.
I’m thinking to do this to my 300zx
Please e-mail me, frankieliu@msn.com
I need some help and advices. Thanks!
Hey Frankie, give either of those links a call even if they arent on the website I know those skullworks brackets are sold.
This would be a great upgrade to your Z32, these Evo Brembos really stop!
Good luck to you and your project!
